Passionate about helping those in need
Our current efforts in Haiti include providing medical care through Bernard Mews Hospital and the support of 2 Orphanages in Port Au Prince, as the country of Haiti was struck by a devastating earthquake in 2010 leaving 250,000 people dead, millions without homes and thousands of children orphaned. Within a month of the disaster Northern Arizona Volunteer Medical Corp (NAVMC) responded with medical and financial support. Since that time NAVMC volunteers have traveled to Haiti eight times and have become a major lifeline for the sick, the injured and the homeless. With the support of our community NAVMC has been able to help respond to this disaster and save lives. Hundreds of children have been nourished through our efforts.
